Birthday Trip
This year for my 28th birthday, I decided to go explore the windy city. I've never been to Chicago and figured it was time. This was the first trip I've ever taken by myself and it was awesome! I had the best time seeing Chicago on my terms and not having to worry about anyone else. I did exactly what I wanted to do and did a lot in a short amount of time. Although I did love seeing and exploring Chicago, I didn't love it as much as NYC or Boston. It did make me miss living in a big city though. Some of the main highlights of the trip were the cruise on the Chicago river, Skydeck at the top of the Willis tower, 360 Chicago at the top of the John Hancock building, The Signature Room, the helicopter tour, Millennium Park and of course The Art Institute of Chicago. I also had some amazing food! Deep dish pizza at Lou Malnati's, Great bbq chicken sandwich at Mother Hubbards, breakfast everyday at Yolk and my personal favorite Au Cheval. This restaurant, right outside the downtown loop, came highly recommended before I even left for the trip. Very small place so the wait was long but since I was by myself, there was a bar seat available. One of the many perks of traveling alone. I ordered the burger and the bacon on the burger was so thick. I've never seen bacon so thick. And the pickles! I also ordered a side of bread and butter pickles, seriously amazing! Overall, one of the best trips I've ever been on although last year's birthday trip is still number one. Here are the photos...
Beach Life
Just wanted to share a few Instagram photos I've taken recently of the gorgeous beaches I live by...
Nephew
I haven't posted in a while, I guess that's what happens when you live in a seasonal state. Now that busy season has calmed down, I'm starting to take more trips and have more time to photograph. Last month I finally got to see my nephew. It had been over a year since I saw him last so I was long over due. We had the best time at the beach and play ground and eating great food. I wish I could see them more. He truly is an amazing kid!

Mom's Condo
Earlier this year, my mom and step dad purchased a condo in Cherry Grove, North Myrtle Beach, SC. It's a two bedroom, two bathroom condo one block back from the ocean. It's on the 9th floor and has great views of the beach and pier since only a parking lot is between the condo and the ocean. There is a pool, a lazy river and two hot tubs. They are renting the place out whenever they aren't using it so I decided to give them professionally done photographs to help attract renters. I wish I had some off camera lighting to help with some dark areas but I flew so I couldn't bring it. They wanted me to wait until the renovations were done but with weird HOA rules, the renovations got pushed back. I went ahead and photographed it but keep in mind that in a couple months, there won't be carpet and different kitchen countertops. Here are the photos, enjoy.
