Christmas 2014

Here are some photos I took at my G-ma's house on Christmas Day!

Foggy NC

I flew home to North Carolina for the holidays but the weather hasn't been the best since I arrived.  It was very eerie and foggy the other day so I decided to photograph it!

El Matador Beach, Malibu

I've been dying to get up to Malibu since I've moved here and yesterday I finally got the chance to. El Matador beach is known for it's very large rocks and gorgeous sunsets.  It's a photographer's dream really!  I expected a sunny day since everyday in LA is sunny but of course the one day I decide to go it's cloudy.  Not the photos I expected to get but I'm still very happy with them.  I'm actually kind of glad it was cloudy, gave the photos a more serene and dramatic look, something that you don't normally see when you think of beach photos.  Hopefully these will be something different to your eye......Tell me what you think!

Signal Hill

One of my co workers showed me a very cool spot near Long Beach called Signal Hill.  It has beyond amazing views of the greater LA area.  The first time I went I only had my phone with me so I made sure to take a second trip with my camera.  The two shots of downtown LA was taken with a not so great zoom lens but I think it did pretty well considering I was 25 miles from downtown.  Here are the shots!

Greystone Mansion

Went exploring at The Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills the other day.  It was nice to walk around but I wasn't allowed inside because I'm not of importance ha!  The best part was the views it had of the city.  I could see downtown LA, the ocean and everything in between.  But if you're wondering whether or not you should add it to your list of things to do in LA, honestly I would leave this one out.  There is a reason it was free!
