Tea Party

I went to my first ever Tea Party the other week.  My friend, Cassidy, is moving to Durham, England for Grad school and this was her going away party.  Cassidy was the first friend I made when I moved to California and although I hate to see her go, I couldn't be more excited for her.  I know she is going to fit right in!  Best of luck to my new UK friend!

Dixie Classic Fair

Since I was already home for the weddings last weekend,  I thought I'd stop by my hometown fair since it's always the first weekend in October every year.  I have gone to this fair every year since I was a kid!  I love riding the rides, playing those lame games and eating amazing food.  I usually get a foot long corndog and an elephant ear!  Here are some pics from the fair last weekend!

Weddings

Last weekend, I flew home to NC for two weddings.  Here are a couple shots from both I took with my iPhone.  The first photo was my sad attempt at using a selfie stick, never used one before and I'm hoping it'll be my last!

Labor Day Weekend

Here are some other photos from their trip taken from my iPhone.

Labor Day Weekend

A couple weeks ago, two of my best friends from back home, flew out to LA to visit me for the weekend.  We did most of the typical tourists stuff like Rodeo Drive, Venice, Santa Monica Pier, Manhattan Beach and Hollywood Walk of Fame.  One thing I actually hadn't done that I was saving for this trip was hike to the Hollywood sign.  Let me know it's one of the hardest workouts of my life, mostly because of how hot it was.  It was three miles from the car, uphill to the sign and three miles back.  It was probably close to 90 degrees that day, so I was quickly melting away. When we got to the end of the hike, we weren't really that close to the sign and I was super disappointed.  I wish we would have walked before the sign honestly.  Regardless I got a great workout in and my best friends loved it!  This was a once in a lifetime trip for them so I tried to make it as memorable as possible and do as much as we could in four short days.  Here are a couple shots I did from the hike.
